My grandparents were married in 1919 and shortly after bought a home on Benson Ave. off of Seneca Street. It is near the Buffalo Creek. I have always been told the story that the home was orignially being built by an Indian Chief named Chief Benson but his wife died and he sold the home to my grandparents. Does anyone have any information on Chief Benson or if this story is true? Thank you for your help.
