  • Who was in charge of electing the leaders of the Seneca Tribe? 

    The women were usually in charge of nominating the leaders.  The Seneca, like other tribes in the League of 6 Nations were the first Native Americans to abolish the hereditary Chiefs system in favor of a more democratic voting process.
