  • Did the Seneca Nation have a constitution? 

Yes the Seneca did have a constitution, the Seneca, like other tribes in the Iroquois League of 6 Nations had drafted a constitution long before the arrival of the white man.  In fact, many believe the Americans used the Seneca constitution as a model for their own after the Revolutionary war.
